Like any black swan, we marvel at its occurrence and its effects and its wait until one way or another, its transit through a collective life comes to an end. I came to the idea for what later became Sanzio after an interview with Adam Halliburton, a graduate of the college and now resident graduate affiliate. While listening to our conversations recording, I realized that Adam and I went completely off script. Our two hour chat primarily revolved around Saybrook, even though Adam and I met a few years ago. It was our shared love for Saybrook that made us fast friends. After a few more days of discussions, we decided to start the venture that's now become Sanzio. But before moving ahead, we added two more members to our team, my former suite mate and close friend of Adam, a young. In addition, university archivist and Sambrook fellow Michael Lonstein joined as a mentor to this project. Each episode of Stancil will start with a brief digest of news newsworthy. The developments related covid-19 at Yale and at large before providing a snapshot of events on campus. This is probably conceived considering the hybrid online offline nature of enrollment for at least this fall term, then will present interview the students, faculty and staff.
